Erosion control will continue through the Fall
Thanks to excellent work from the volunteers of the Pinebrook Trails Committee and the generous donation of time and equipment from Gorgoza Water Company, the Lower Spring Trail has been reopened. The snow melts and heavy rains in the spring and early summer created significant damage to the trail with the creek finding new alignments, sweeping away bridges, and exposing Water Company infrastructure. Work remains to complete erosion control in a number of areas, and removal of debris, so please use care on the trail as folks will be working. Many thanks go out to those who helped restore the trail: Jeremy Jenkins, Chane Kellerstrass, Stan Plaisier, and Stephan Herrera.
