Wildfire Preparedness Fair Pinebrook Park – Saturday June 21 – 10am-1pm   Experts Attending:  All participating experts will be available to talk with individual HOA members about specific issues as well as provide literature and hand-outs.  There will be food trucks! Donut Kabobs and La Lupe Taco Truck. Fire Safety Work Continues

Crews Move into Upper Pinebrook and Around Ecker Hill Park May 22, 2025 – Forestry workers will be working in upper Pinebrook along the access to and around the upper water tank off of Canyon Drive to remove dead and down fuel. Workers will also be performing thinning along Two Mile Creek above and below Ecker Hill Park. Trails along the creek will be closed. Controlled Burning to Begin Soon

October 30, 2024 – The Pinebrook Master Association (PMA) and the Pinebrook Homeowners Association (PHOA) are performing controlled pile-burning in the community open space. Work is to occur below Pine Ridge Way and Pine Ridge and Canyon Drives. This work, undertaken by local forestry expert Alpine Forestry, occurs when an approved “burn window” is opened by state and local authorities. Fire Fuels Work to Begin in Pinebrook October 11th

Work to continue thru the end of October Thanks to more Utah State grant funds, Pinebrook will continue to manage fire fuel in its open space starting today, October 11th. Forestry crews will begin thinning and piling north and west of Sun Peak, above and below the loop of Canyon Drive, and above Pine Ridge Drive above the mailboxes.

More Cash for Homeowner Fire Safety Projects

Pinebrook has again been awarded grant funds from the Utah Watershed Restoration Initiative (WRI) which are available to Pinebrook residents now through June 15, 2025. This grant provides partial reimbursement to Pinebrook property owner for costs incurred creating defensible space around Pinebrook residences using Firewise Landscaping concepts.  $75,000 in total funds are available on a first-come, first-served basis and must be used by June 15, 2025.  A maximum grant award of $6,000 per property is available and awards will range from 25% to 75% of the cost of each project.  Completion of an application will notify the Pinebrook Fire Safety Committee (PFSC) of a homeowner’s interest in… Read More »

Park City Enacts Fire Ban Effective July 11

Park City, Utah – Effective July 11, 2024, any open fires, including fireworks, are prohibited within Park City limits.   At their regular meeting on July 11, the Park City Council, in consultation with the City’s Fire Marshall, Park City Fire Department, Park City Police, and the City’s Emergency Manager, voted to enact a prohibition on open fires including fireworks, campfires, slash piles, and wood-burning fire pits.
