Controlled Burning Underway

Wednesday, Nov 9 – Controlled burning continues behind the Ecker Hill Middle School, and has begun along Two Mile Creek between Buckboard and Big Spruce. The Pinebrook Master Association (PMA) will be performing controlled pile burning in the near future. This work, to be undertaken by local forestry expert Alpine Forestry, should occur in November or December of 2022 and will begin when an approved “burn window” is opened by state and local authorities; see below map with the areas in which burning will occur. The Fire Safety Committee wishes to make Pinebrook residents aware of a number of upcoming events and activities. A Walk in Pinebrook with one of our Resident Wildland Firefighters – Brad Washa will lead a 90 minute educational hike along the Spring Creek Trail on Saturday, October 29th to share information about the Pinebrook Fire Safety Committee’s professional forestry efforts over the past three years, to talk about the work done already and what’s planned for later in 2022 and early 2023, and to answer your questions. Chipper Days, Oct 7th and 8th

The Pinebrook Master Association and Pinebrook HOA are hosting fall chipping at the Pinebrook Park on Friday, October 7th, and Saturday, October 8th from 7am to 5pm for Pinebrook residents ONLY. This is for trees, branches, brush, and other such debris. Branches may not be larger than 8″ in diameter, and no shorter than 3′ in length as to not clog the chipper. There will be NO dumpsters as in the spring, only wood chipping. If a landscape company is hired to help with your cleanup, please make sure they are only acting on your behalf.
